Welcoming Jon to the Ind-Tech Team!

On the 13th May we welcomed Jon as our new Sales and Customer Service Advisor. Jon is fitting into the team well and is great fun to have in the office!

Jon has joined us from EE and will be helping us utilise current and future technologies in order to enhance our offering to our customers whilst reducing unnecessary paperwork in accordance with our ISO14001 status.

We are very pleased that Jon has joined our team as it enables us to continue providing excellent service to our customers.

Henley Half Marathon Trail Run

Managing Director Francis Tracey completed the Henley Half Marathon Trail Run on Sunday 12th May in 1:44:21!

The Henley Half Marathon Trail Run is now in its 6th year. This scenic Trail Run started and finished by the Temple Island Meadows – The Official Start line for the Royal Henley Rowing Regatta.

The event is not designed to be a gruelling cross country through deep mud and puddles, but aims to be a fun, friendly and fast trail run along one of England’s most historic courses.

This was good practice for Francis before he takes part in the 50k Race to the Stones in July.

Witney and District Youth League U10 Champions Cup

Ind-Tech are the proud sponsors of Tower Hill FC Under 10s team, who were playing in the the Witney and District Youth League U10 Champions Cup Final on Sunday 28th April.

Managing Director Francis Tracey was at the match to see them come from 1-0 down to win 2-1 against local rivals Carterton.

Francis comments “A close and hard fought match with both teams playing really well so it could have gone either way :)”

Francis & Gavin complete the Spring Wolf!

On the 14th April Francis and Gavin completed the Spring Wolf event in Warwickshire. The course pushed them through Woods, Obstacles, Lakes and Forests over the 1,000 acre site.

The 10km off-road run featured a series of man-made and natural obstacles which tested both Francis and Gavin but they both made it to the end, albeit a lot muddier than when they started the event! They managed to complete the Spring Wolf in just over an hour. This event has been a nice warm up before the Blenheim Triathlon in June and the 50km Race to the Stones in July!

Welcoming Barry to the Ind-Tech Team!

We welcomed Barry into our logistics team on the 07th January. He is a great asset to the team and will enable us to provide excellent service to our customers by delivering the orders in a prompt and efficient manner. Barry is already fitting in well with the company, and it’s been great having him on board.

Sales & Customer Services

Building an excellent understanding of the industry and Ind-Tech’s offering

Working closely with the Sales team to look at the strategy and to identify new opportunities to help to expand the company with an ambitious outlook

Work with clients and the internal team to offer an unbeatable service

Provide all necessary pre-sale communication to gain the custom

Supporting the business with existing customer base retention and expansion

Handle the purchasing of goods for clients in a prompt and cost effective manner

Reviewing and reducing costs of parts/orders as an ongoing task

Negotiating Supplier deals; – Carriage, Call Offs, Etc.…

Key point of contact in the office for clients

Answering queries and handling issues with clients

Help advise clients if any issues with purchases/goods and quickly coming to a positive resolution


Handle general office paperwork

Take phone calls and deal with messages and enquiries promptly and professionally

Ensure excellent communication internally and externally – calls and emails are responded to promptly

Follow company procedures

Follow relevant health and safety procedures

Other ad-hoc duties as required


Experience with basic MS office packages

Flexible and approachable

Able to work independently and good at planning and organising your own time

Excellent team player

Good numeracy & literacy skills

Ind-Tech Shortlisted for 2019 WOBA Award

We are thrilled to report that we have been shortlisted for the WOBA 2019 Small Business Award.

This year marks the third year that we have entered the WOBA awards. The WOBA 2019 small business award is eligible to any businesses of between 5 and 25 employees. The judges will be visiting us to measure us on our performance, past growth, future growth plans, how we deal with challenges and also what stand out quality makes us worthy of winning the award.

We believe our stand out quality is that we really care about our customers and we care about the service we deliver to them. Ind-Tech was set up to help Engineers and Procurement Managers – of course businesses exist to make money, but this isn’t the main driving force for us. Just as our customers:

“The difference with Ind-Tech is they go the extra yard every time…”. 

We respond to our customer emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, offering a service that is entirely based on their requirements.

This month our male staff are growing their moustache’s for the Movember appeal. This photo was taken on 12th November just a week or so in to their hair growth efforts!

The Movember campaign seeks to stop men from dying far too young, either from illnesses such as prostate cancer or from mental health problems such as suicide.

Manx Grand Prix

The Manx Grand Prix motorcycle races took place in the Isle of Man at the end of August. Ind-Tech were asked to support a customer by sponsoring their race (amongst other sponsors), which Ind-Tech were of course delighted to help with.

The ‘Manx’ is seen as the amateur motorbike rider’s learning experience for the Isle of Man TT races which are held in May/June of each year.
